[SMM Flash News] Tri Winarno, Director General of Minerals and Coal at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of Indonesia, stated at the ESDM office this Tuesday that all mining enterprises will be required to resubmit their Work Plans and Budgets (RKAB) for 2026 by October this year. He emphasized that even if the existing RKABs have a validity period extending beyond 2025, new quotas still need to be resubmitted. Currently, mining companies are still awaiting the official release of documents related to this new policy. Therefore, the approved quotas before the end of 2025 will remain valid. SMM will continue to monitor further developments in relevant regulatory policies.
